Skal are a five-piece band hailing from Winsford in Cheshire. They’re made up of Evan Kirwan (lead vocals), Jack Entwistle (lead guitar), Tom Giltrow (drums/backing vocals), Darcy Smith (guitar/backing vocals), and Gerrad Quine (bass).

Most of the band met at school, playing in various bands and forging life-long friendships. Later, Darcy (formerly of Ursula Suits) joined on guitar.
